New or Used
You’re ready to start enjoying the RV lifestyle. Now: new, or pre-owned?
New RVs come with affordable financing options, manufacturers warranty coverages, and will have all the latest features and designs. Nobody has lived in it, and there is no mileage and no wear and tear to inherit.
Used RVs carry the price advantage — you get a lot more bang for your buck, and buying used is a good way to learn what you actually want before you commit to a newer unit.
Questions to ask when you buy used
- HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE OWNED THE RV?
- ARE THERE ANY WATER DAMAGES THAT YOU CAN SEE?
- DO THEY HAVE MAINTENANCE RECORDS?
- WHAT’S THE MILEAGE ON THE TIRES & HAVE THEY EVER BEEN REPLACED?
Many RV dealers also allow you the option of renting an RV — another way to try before you buy.
